Dear Church Family,

We appreciate your prayers, cards, and those who came to my Mom’s funeral service. Special thanks to Steve and Mar for taking time to make the long trip to attend Mom’s service. We had a great service that she would have approved of. I am glad mom didn’t suffer very long and God saw fit to call her home. We as a church need to remember the Bingham & Lemley family in the loss of their sister Shirley. Miss Shirley was a member of our church. Please continue to pray for our missionary and his family David Mote. David will begin Chemo in about a week, then he will have radiation on this liver. This is going to be a battle that some of you are going through now or have already been through.

Doreen and I will be out another Sunday for our anniversary trip. We plan to be back next week. Brother David Hairston will bring God’s message this Sunday. Thanks to Brother Ralph for filling the pulpit last week. I know he always does a great job preaching (Thank you Bro. Ralph)

God Bless, we love you,

Pastor Rick & Doreen

Dear Church Family, Hope this finds you all doing well. I just want to encourage you to keep the faith and trust the Lord, that one day soon we can reassemble without concern of getting this virus. In light of the rioting and destruction we are seeing, and hearing about, I wanted to remind you that God is watching His children. He admonishes us to stay firm and secure in His Word. For it is His Word that instructs us how to live in response to all the violence we are seeing and hearing about. Galatians 5:19-21 teaches that if we act or respond in the negative sense then we are living in the flesh which results in adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, strange seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and even worse than this. But God... has given us clear words concerning our spiritual attitude and response towards the evil that we are witnessing today. He tells us to live in light and produce the fruit He has equipped us for. He says in Galatians 5:22-26 that the fruits that we should display are as follows: Joy, love, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against which there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust. He tells us that if we live in the spirit, we should always walk in the spirit and we should never be desirous of vain glory, provoking each other or even envying each other. We who know Jesus Christ have all these fruits and God admonishes us to let our fruits and His light within us shine forth to a lost world who needs Jesus. Stay strong, and be steadfast in Jesus.

God bless and stay safe, Pastor Rick
